The Cornerstone methodology guides the way we execute our learning engagements. Our development process involves phases of independent production and client-based review. This method has proven to deliver high quality products into which you have continuous input. This approach is captured in Cornerstone, a comprehensive learning and performance support methodology that has been successfully used in over 170 projects worldwide.

Underlying Philosophy

Cornerstone is based on our underlying philosophy for End User education and support, which is:

Get the users ready. We ensure that End Users understand how to apply the new policies, procedures and processes to their jobs, and that they take ownership of these new processes. We achieve this with a balanced combination of documentation, training and change communication.

Customise the solutions. We deliver solutions that teach your specific business processes, not generic business models. We create job specific, role-based materials. Your users will not only know how to work with these group policies, procedures and processes, but also how they impact their job.

Be flexible. We know that one approach does not work for all projects. For this reason, we have designed Cornerstone to be flexible, so that we can tailor our approach according to any type of business environment. We can do all of the work ourselves, or work with your staff. We can use our standard design, or create a custom design. It depends on your needs.

Involve the Users. We involve users throughout the life cycle of the project. They help us with useability testing, validating the design of our materials, and with reviewing content. This involvement increases the education and buy-in of the users, and ensures that we produce effective materials.

Develop materials quickly. Project budgets and deadlines are often tight. To trim production time and cost as much as possible, we begin by creating document templates that ensure production time is kept to a minimum.

Transfer the knowledge.
Our consultants are active in transferring their knowledge of documentation and training. In doing so, we are helping you become self sufficient in the on-going revision and maintenance of your deliverables.
